Our Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality recovery-based programs in Darwin and Alice Springs, offering support, education, information, and respite to all people whose lives are affected by mental illness.

Our goal is to reduce community restrictions experienced by all people affected by mental illness and improve their quality of life.

Education
MHCNT offer a variety of education programs for carers and consumers aimed at providing tools and developing skills to better cope with the affects of mental illness.
  • WellWays Building a Future – 8 week course for carers
  • WellWays Snapshot – 2 day workshop for carers
  • WellWays Mi Recovery – program to assist consumers with their recovery journey
  • Smoke Free – 10 week program for consumers to assist with quitting or reducing smoking
  • SANE Mental Illness and Bereavement – raising awareness about grief and bereavement around Mental illness and Suicide.  Aimed at mental health professionals.
